These were my favorite reads in 2015. Last year was a good year for books and reading, but not a good year (for me) in terms of writing reviews. Life happens as it does with us all, but I promise to do better this year.
Right here you have the books that kept me up at night, the books that made me skip eating lunch, the books that made me forget I have a budget, the books that made me forget it was 1AM, the books that I gifted to friends because they were so good, the books that cemented my favorite writer as my favorite writer, the books that made my soul cry and sing in the same paragraph, and the books that made me proud to call myself a book-lover.
‘A Day of Fire: A Novel of Pompeii’ by Stephanie Dray, Ben Kane, E. Knight, Sophie Perinot, Kate Quinn, and Vicky Alvear Shecter.
‘The Raven: Novel of Boudica’ by E. Knight, Ruth Downie, Stephanie Dray, Russell Whitfield, Kate Quinn, Vicky Alvear Shecter, and SJA Turney.
